Which ASIC specifically was at fault in the end? Serial?Ive managed to find my salvaged parts pot and yay there was another asic in there.
My IIci's serial is wonky - I need to investigate sometime.Tried the serial ports the other day and... lock up.. so off with its scc and check vias. As i have a broken connection to the special serial proc.View attachment 62781
Yried my wacom serial tablet on it.. changed the serial switch to compatible too.. it just locks up. Wont do a loopback test either in snooperWhat were you trying to do with the port?
pin 44, 3, 43, 4 and ahhhhh
it still doesnt like my 2 bluescsis.. keeps failing random sector tests in snooper and randomly locking up whilst copying files but getting there slowly.. it seems more reliable with a real hard disk... she says as it bad chimes and asks to restart lol.. oops
