Go for Office 97. More compatible with other WP programs. Appleworks is well...Appleworks. Plus the random format that they used is just as annoying as Pages specific format.

As for random games. Pull up Escape Velocity or EV Nova for some vintage gaming or maybe some Maelstrom

God I love EV: Nova.

I actually paid for that game a few months after it came out. I have the game, a ton of PDF's, graphics, sounds, addons and everything all burned onto my own custom cd.

However the 5300 has a passive matrix screen and I can only image how slow the game would run on a 100mhz processor with shared video.

That being said here is the real question:

Rebel Dragon or Mod Starbridge Class E?

Mmmmm.....I love 'em both. Such a hard choice.
