Today i got the following from the flea market:

1 CD Caddy - now I don't need to connect the external CD drive in order to use CDs on my recently acquired 7100.

1 really weird looking Acer ergonomic keyboard with separate numeric keypad and a round trackpad in the middle. It must be seen to be believed. :) Pictures to follow...

Woo good scores!

I went to our flea market today, and was severely disappointed. There were maybe five vendors set up... One of them had an ADB Keyboard II, but would only sell it along with a compaq pentium II desktop and CGA monitor (no cables). He didn't get that ADB doesn't work with them.

Alas, I'll go back tomorrow afternoon when it really gets busy!

I haven't hooked it up yet - I had to cut the grass today. First time as a homeowner. It felt considerably different than when I cut my parent's yard.

As promised, here are the pictures of it:

What a weird keyboard. Minus the Microsoft Natural keyboards, I have not seen anything like that. I wonder how long it would take to getting used to as a full time KB.

I'm not sure but I'll find out soon - it's going to work connect to my B/W G3.

I currently use a MS Natural keyboard at home. It's not bad, but requires a bit of pressure on some keys.

I tried to connect it to the G3 at work. One thing prevents me from using it. The trackpad has a serial connection and I don't have the cable to convert it to a PS/2 connector. I borrowed one from a Cirque trackpad, but it didn't work.

If I can free up enough space, I'll try it on my ThinkPad.

I finally was able to use the keyboard this morning and I have to say that it is the most comfortable one I have used so far. The cursor keys take a little getting used to - on occasion the down arrow is clicked instead of the trackpad button.

Too bad I can't use it on my KVM switch because it lacks the Serial-PS/2 adapter.
