Microsoft Gray Button Mouse help

Does anybody have This mouse? I opened it up and 45’ roller jumped out. I have put it back but looks like I am missing something. The cursor movement is not smooth. When I move side rollers with fingers it is ok. When using the ball, movement is not as it should be…

Did you get all the rollers back in? I remember having one of those where a smaller roller didn't make it back in and the slack had the mouse pointer skipping across the screen. Also, do all the rollers have a bit of spring to them when pressed? It's possible you've lost a tension spring (I can't remember if that model is one that had those).

Yes exactly, I am wondering if I lost the spring there
