Macintosh II won't power

I have a Macintosh II that won't power on, what do I do?

Check the battery (batteries?) inside. I know my IIfx won’t boot without two good batteries, II might be the same. If the batteries are dead, get them out pronto before they leak or explode. Red Maxell batteries are the spawn of Satan.
