bibilit 68030 May 22, 2016 #2 I have found a small board in the HD connector of a Macintosh Classic. Never seen one of those before, so probably this was one of those Classic sold without a Hard Drive fitted. What is the purpose of such an item ?

bigmessowires 68020 May 23, 2016 #3 Like this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-Internal-50-Pin-SCSI-Terminator-820-0408-A-/321794012132 I guess if there's no internal drive, you still need a terminator so that external SCSI device will work.
