Mac Classic keyboard not working, beeps instead.

Hi guys, see video here: http://youtu.be/-edC0nMLB28 - any ideas what might be happening?

The keyboard works fine when I boot from my ZIP drive so I'm certain that this is not a hardware problem. This started happening after a key was held down for a very long time.

maybe boot from the zip and copy that install over what is on the hd, and problem will be solved.

since its a Classic, boot into ROM and see if the issue resides. if you can boot into ROM, then the keyboard is definitely working.
