Tonight i went for a walk, and after half an hour noticed something familiar lying off the road.
It was this:
A Macintosh Classic II, pretty yellow and dusty.
I picked it and took it home, nice conquest isn't it ?
Well, the problem is how many people would care about a very old computer, probably not working and without any value ?
Anybody, except all of you, me...and those who don't care about a computer but are looking for something valuable inside:
Copper !!!
So that's the point, the screen is smashed, bezel as well and pieces and bits are all over the place.
Now the good news:
* Both boards seems to be ok (logic board is drying after a good wash)
* The Mac has never been cracked open (until this night of course) :b&w:
* The hard Disk is working (tested with my IIsi) System 7.1, with some nice applications (RamDoubler, Word, and Mac Playboy ...this is really hot)
* The floppy drive is working too
* A set of two sticks of ram are included (don't know the size right now)
So i have removed everything i will need in the future...as i will probably get a Classic soon, and swap boards
I also collected two more things:
Dusty isn't it
And the top cover of an Apple II europlus, yes only the cover :'(
