Just as described in the title. I am looking to see if there are any Mac PCI cards that will work with OS X ~10.6 with analog RGB and/or S-video input jacks that can capture/record video to a 2008 Mac Pro. Do any such cards exist?

@LaPorta I almost was going answer you then I thought "hmm but wait..2008 surely that can't still be pci can it?" and had to go recheck .. yep unless I'm wrong it seem you only have pcie slots

only thing that could come to mind now for that would be blackmagic decklink card specifically the rather early models which did still have that sort of osx support from release day

Yes. I have a BlackMagic Decklink Extreme in my Quad G5 which has component-in. It's a PCIe card.

And I've never used it because I don't have the cable. I did reach out to their support who sent me a PDF with the pinout in it, so one day I may make the cable... I'll attach the file here in case you end up in a similar position.

aye @zefrenchtoon is right, mid-september I saw a lot of reddit topics about many countries everywhere pausing any further shipping and/or ramping up all fee methods across the board in deference to naturally an one clueless bigwig a somewhere messing up simple things to start with

and @LaPorta you might still be able to luck out on an inexpensive one eventually if you keep on looking tho? who knows (like me having the interesting luck of [at a local book-cafe place] finding a stack of 2024-published $64.99 book for only $8.99 on one of my few interesting subjects so naturally I had to buy one right away, etc)
