I'm trying to flash a PC ATI Radeon 7000 PCI in a B&W G3 and the whole process is driving me nuts.
The latest issue is that the computer is trying to send video to only the PC video card if I boot with it installed. If I boot with just the stock Mac ATI card in the 66 MHz slot everything is fine. If I then stick the PC Radeon card in one of the 33 MHz slots (with the VGA cable still attached to the Mac card) I get no video on reboot. If I reboot with the VGA cable attached to the PC video card I get flashes of video during the boot like it's trying to sync, and occasional flashes of the desktop after boot.
Clearly it's only using the PC Radeon card when both are installed, which doesn't seem right? Am I doing something wrong here Any way to force it to boot with the stock card?
