Logic Audio 2.5 / 68 k - Quadra 800

Hi all

I'm setting up an Quadra 800 with Logic Audio 2.5 - I've got an original dongle but my floppies with the installer doesn't work anymore.

Does anybody here have them for me?

It looks like the other floppies I've got of the CBX D5 Logic Extension isn't working propberly...

thanx

raphael

I haven't seen them around, but if I do, I will let you know. I just ran 1.7 last week on my SE, which is the earliest I have used. A few weeks back I bought a small pile of Logic dongles and don't know for certain what versions they are for.

CBX-D5? Any chance you can point me towards software for this? I also scored a D3 and have been searching for software.

CBX-D5 Extension for Logic Audio will update/patch Logic Audio 2.5 to Logic Audio 2.5.4 with CBX D5 support.

I've got that installer floppies but it does work only Logic 2.5 program files. ( I does not work with the 2.5.3. crack I got... )

Therefore I'm looking for the program file or installer for version 2.5...

thx

Nice score CJ. Is that the two in two out version without FX?
It hasn't arrived yet, but if I am not mistaken, it is 2-in 4-out like the D5, but uses 1/4" jacks instead of balanced and has no DSP. Looks like a 1U rack. This is fine for me because I don't have much gear with balanced i/o, and don't need long cable runs anyway. I am hoping I can use the D3 for hard disk recording with older computers, like my Falcon and SE. From what I have read, it sound like these boxes are MIDI controlled, so one could possibly use a transport on it with MMC or such. It supposedly works with any SCSI computer, but I have heard of special versions of Cubase and Logic for use with it, as Cyberish mentioned. The manual is on the web but I can't get myself to read it just now. Sounds like a nice cheap way to add audio to our older machines.
