The highend G5 towers mostly had liquid cooling systems that are said to be prone to failure, though I also read that the Quad G5's liquid cooling is better than the rest.
I don't have a G5 tower but am pondering getting one now that the prices put them in "collectable" range. They are also still very usable in real life situations, and I happen to have a real life situation now where a G5 tower would likely plug a hole just fine.
What do those with some experience of these machines think? Are the liquid cooled models to be avoided or are most of them still in service at this stage best seen as tested, proven and therefore "buyable"?
