I did it! I finally got Xubuntu on my iMac G3! Wireless works too. The version is 7.04, I couldn't get 7.10 working before. I will try some of my other devices I have laying around once I get my access point shipped from ibuydirect.ca (Evil people have to confirm and we didn't get the call so we have been emailing them back and forth for a week now!) and get around to finding webcam drivers.

which version of ubuntu is xubuntu again ? i forgot

im more used to ubuntu and kubuntu

Xubuntu is Ubuntu with xfce.

Make sure you get the Alternate Installation....it has more options during the install process than the Live CD version:

http://cdimage.ubuntu.com

Go into the flavor of Ubuntu that you want, and then click on the "ports" directory for the flavor you've chosen.
