In re-reading all of the posts, I noticed that someone else brought up the crowded interior and the tricky front bezel. These are yet more problems that I've experienced myself with my 638CD. The interior is quite a mess of cables, even after I went in and rearranged everything as well as I could. Once I had taken out the floppy drive to clean it, as it was practically spitting dust, and then could never get it to sit directly in front of the slot in the bezel. Also, everything was made from plastic that may have been acceptable (although obviously low quality) even when new, but I think most would agree that most of these Macs have not aged as gracefully as we all would've liked. Mine, due to a combination of an annoying bezel and weak plastics, is short one bezel clip, which has gotten quite annoying, as it causes the entire left side of the bezel to droop downward and outward.
