Another one just bubbled up to the surface of the graying matter.
Always wondered about the multiple slot adapters in the two ginormous mezzanine expansion boxen for the LC series.
LC 16bit PDS is hardwired at PseudoSlot $E (/SLOTIRQ.E)
LCIII 32bit extension includes /SLOTIRQ.C and /SLOTIRQ.D, neither of which are supported in ROM.

Wondering if an adapter mimicing the /IPL0 thru /IPL2 function on the IIsi PDS might be workable?
It would spoof the LC series into supporting a "multi-function card" grouping of the three PDS cards hardwired to /SLOTIRQ.E as in the aforementioned expansion boxen.
- Wondering if a driver to force the LC into checking $E for multiple DeclROMs might be required in the case of a three card implementation?
Hoping something as simple as interrupt contention between my PAS16 and a NIC on the 16bit LC PDS might "just work" in a binary IPL mimic adaptation? Sound and Networking don't NEED to be up and running simultaneously. The CPU could only be running one driver at any given time, no?
Dunno, thought I'd toss this one out there too . . . before I manage to wake up.
