Took apart for the first time one of my 2 IIfx's. Hoping to help someone out needing a chip. 1 is in good condition and this one was in this condition which is rough. I suppose that the battery which I also suppose was a maxell, grenaded but more like a claymore off to one side as seen in the pics. I will keep it as a spare for parts for the good one.

Plastics are in good shape. Above pic makes it look like a marshmallow on a fire but its nice.

So my plan is to start testing systems and monitors this week in the coming days. Pray for as little smoke as possible for me lol.

I am going to compile a complete list of what I have for monitors this week and need some help matching them to their macintosh counterparts.

I want to start off testing the 3 multiple scan 17" monitors I have as I want to get one to @techknight for a barter deal.

It has been a month and I have not done this and I feel bad for saying it. I am so tired and sore from working construction everyday that when I get home at 5 I just have no ambition. I really want to as soon as tomorrow start to inventory my monitors. I cannot guarantee anything............ But it is my weekend finally.

What looks like a crack in both images washed off with some spit quite easily it may have been some sort of mouse or squirrell urine, idk

So I went over to my storage house (No I am not rich I have 2 dumps I bought to fix up but have yet to do that) and checked on my monitors I have stored. I told member @techknight that I had 3 17 inch multiple scans, but it turns out I have 1 of those and 2 macintosh 16 color displays. They all look similar, and they are all sony trinitrons still which is what you want in the end.

After looking at my own picture, which was taken in near darkness lol obviously the center monitor is a 15 and not a 17.

I went and looked afterwards and it is simply the camera angle the left one is a multi scan 1705 and both of the ones on the right are apple color monitor 16s.
