Agreed. Most Amazon products are adequate, but usually have little quality problems that definitely add up.I'd bet it can be filed down. The ones I bought are also the quality I expected of a cheap Amazon product. I wouldn't be surprised if they are slightly out of spec.
I'm weary of buying things like vitamins and pain killers (Beyer aspirin, Tylenol, Advil, etc) because who knows if it's real or some sort of inferior counterfeit. Same goes for edibles and cosmetics. But genuine versions of those products can be found with some diligent searching, but that's made complicated by Amazon's relatively lousy and deceitful search engine (when I sort by Price low-to-high, most of the cheaper items disappear!)
Sometimes I wish they'd just stuck to selling books. Simpler times, those were....
