JailHouse SE/30 (Vertical lines across display)

My SE/30 was working just fine, until I removed the back cover today to look at something inside. Now I'm getting vertical lines across the display, one about every 1/8 inch. I swapped out all the ram, and no matter what I still get the lines. I recapped it about a month ago.  Any suggestions? I've checked all ram, reseated everything.

found a thread about the  datalines 0-7 between UE8 and UC6 and UC7, checking on it now.

you will likely need to swap the UE8.

It's Vid (0) -- pin 2 of UE8 to pin 2 of UC7 I don't get continuity, just a quick beep. all the rest are .000 continuity with a continuous beep.

After I did the check, it started working for a while then failed again. I'll try resoldering that pin just to see what happens.

just run a patch wire. itll probably fix it up.

That's what I had to do-- resoldered the pin but no go. Trace must be broken under the chip. I ran a wire and it's back working now.
