Just need clarification on this. Searching brought up some fuzzy results. I have an Imagewriter I that I am trying to test drive. It came with a IIc, so the cable provided won't work. The only cable I have on hand looks like the eBay link below. But were I get confused is that there seem to be two cables that look the same but serve a different purpose, other being for a modem. The one I have is written on one end in pencil with the word modem. So I assume its what is says it is. So this cable is then a no-go for printing?
I did set the dip switches for Mac printing, select light is on. Printer brings up dialog print box under System 7.0.1. When I print, the computer hangs for a while then carries on like nothing happened. Well, nothing does happen!
