How would i use a apple 2c with a imagewriter 1??

You need the "special" IIc Serial cable and plug into the "Printer Port."
The IIc Serial is similar to the SuperSerial card on the IIe/II+. If I remember correctly, it should be in "Slot 1" so PR#1 should activate it.
It being a Din 5 (old Audio/Mic 5-PinConnector) to DB25 connector, you could build one. There are schematics online if you scour the net. Once you build/get it, it plugs right into the IIc and ImageWriter.
Note: If you have the Apple IIc+, then you can use the Mac Plus/SE/II Din8 to DB25 cable. The IIc+ Uses the same serial port connectors as the Macs.
