IIsi Internal SCSI

I have a IIsi and 4 quantum drives that I've tried with it that it will not see when I boot off a 6.0.8 floppy.  One of the drives I'm sure has a stuck head, but the other three all do the initial power on routine and they show up in my 9600, running disk first aid on them reveals no problems.  Signs of a bad SCSI controller or bad caps?  None of the caps look like they are leaking but they are certainly old enough.

At this point it would be worth removing all of the old capacitors off the board, cleaning the board with contact cleaner or alcohol, and then putting new caps. Use high quality Japanese ones. Almost all II series Macs will need new caps either now or very soon. My made in 1992 IIfx just started to leak recently and I caught it before any damage was done.

Well I took a look at the caps, they actually all looked fine on the motherboard, but replaced them with tantalum anyways just to be on the safe side.  hard drives still wouldn't show up.  Then I stumbled upon a IIsi service manual pdf that said first thing to do for hard drive powering on but not showing up was replace the ribbon cable, and low and behold it worked just fine.  It's always the easy things you miss!  Now, which system do I want to put on her...
