IIfx board with Spectrum Eng DT-1088 in ROM slot

@Udo.Keller thanks much for this and the link to the *.pDF manual....that is gold!  Since my OP I have acquired a IIfx so I'll see if I can get this running when time allows.

THis auction ended

Newer Technology Macintosh IIfx series clock upgrade. (80,90,100 Mhz)

A Newer Technology Apple Macintosh IIfx processor clock upgrade card. It pushes in the to processor slot and then the processor pushes in to the upgrade card and is clipped to the two of the processor pin. Do not have any instructions and Newer Technology could not find any either. It is a cool piece of old tech.

I don't know how long the auction photos will be up so I grabbed them:

Getting my IIfx and this bit of kit working is high on my list.  Hoping to get to it around the holidays.

I just snagged this for my IIfx...

Assuming the package is complete/original, DT-108B does seem to be correct for the IIfx, identical to the original post.

I'll be excited to try this out and see what it does with just one oscillator, but I want some heatsinks first.

(Downloaded auction photos so they're still accessible when eBay takes them down)

@jeremywork Any update on that overclocker?
Thanks for reminding me to update this. I received the VSO and everything looks to be in order, though I did need to order some thermal adhesive and heatsinks (found some suitable on amazon; these arrived last week as well.) I need to set aside a bit of time this coming week to install as well as scan the manual to PDF.

I did archive the diskette already in case anyone needs that:

Oops, looks like my installation and results were wiped out in the crash.

Installation process pics:

Video of function:

Summary:
The VSO sits in the ROM slot and allows software to set custom timing on the fly, overriding the crystal oscillator.
The IIfx first boots at stock 40MHz, and once its extension loads it reboots with the VSO enabled using the last speed set. Unstable speed can be reverted simply by powering off, holding shift, changing the setting, and rebooting again.

Edit: oh, and the manual is now re-attached.
