IIc power supply arrived!!!

Hi,

Just now, I got a package in the mail. One of the two power supplies I ordered has arrived! I'm also getting a second one from WorkGroupServer here on the forums; I figured it can't hurt to have two of them, since they're hard to find. Besides, I may get another Apple IIc.

I've been playing around with the IIc for a while now. It's so awesome! And soon, I'll get really good at programming it! This is so awesome!! :) :) :) And I was right about the IIc; I noticed that the interior looked great, and sure enough, it functions perfectly!! (Except that the 'up' arrow key seems to have no effect. When I press it, the cursor does 'skip' as if it recognizes it, but does not go up. Any ideas?)

-Apostrophe :)

P.S. Sorry for all the smilies, but I'm just so happy! :)

Nice. I love my IIc. THough it has been dismantled since december, as has my desktop. Had it hooked to it and had ADTPro running great on it. Apple II Game Server had some issues, but version 3.0 out soon should fix that. Have not had a chance to test the beta.

I took mine apart too, have some pics of it somewhere, it is really clean on the inside. Mine is a Rom 255 with the serial timing fix, so it has the rubber mat under the keyboard. idk how to remove it, or if I want to (I have been told this makes the kb more clicky).

With regard to the up arrow key, if you're typing things in at the Applesoft command line it won't have any effect... type in the following program to see if the keys are functional:

Code:
NEW

10 X = PEEK (-16384)
20 IF X > 127 THEN PRINT X-128 : POKE -16368,0
30 GOTO 10

RUN
That's from memory, so don't yell if it doesn't work... here's how it works (if it does):

Line 10 reads keyboard buffer

Line 20 checks for a keypress and prints the ASCII value to the screen and resets the keyboard buffer

Line 30 loops back to the start

Hit CTRL-C to halt execution.

Hope that helps.
