If my IICX's CPU is socketed can I upgrade it?

by just swapping in a 25MHz 68030 etc ?

I stuck a Daystar 040 into a IIcx with the correct socketed Daystar Adapter.

Swapping the CPU without changing the FSB will not change anything.
