Hp deksjet 870

Was wondering if anyone knows but
Trying to hook up my working deskjet 870cxi. To my lc3 it has a serial connection I have the hp 9.3.0 software installed but. When I go to chooser to set up printer it does not show up. In The extentions folder it there ? Anyone know why it won't show up in the chooser ? Running system 7.6.1

check extensions manager, sometimes some extensions aren't on by default

Yeah I checked that still no luck

I would try uninstalling QuickDraw GX first. Apparently when it is installed, Chooser only shows GX compatible printer drivers and hides legacy drivers.
