Along with/instead of baking soda you could also try activated charcoal. Baking soda is likely much cheaper and easier to get.

 
I guess it doesn't have a care tag? I would throw it in a front loading washer on delicate/cold and then let it air dry. That's the same instructions I follow for sleeping bags that are made of the same materials, right down to the water-proofing. They're not any worse for wear though I haven't deliberately tested the water proofing.
