Ive got lots working on my se30, and am abut to install a pair of pds/interface ethernet cards(If anyone needs one I am using the A type in my machine, and I have the triple interface version pair-unsued- as well -which I can make available: yes i have the 1.2 driver floppy)

BUT I need to get up to the 128MB and 32 bit clean for au/x etc etc etc..so can anyone advise or help?

My Rominator II sits in a drawer because I couldn’t get it to work with one of my machines. But that’s my fault, not its. So yes, I’d say this is a pretty good solution for you, as it is a 32-bit clean rom in its default configuration.

You don't need a 32 bit clean ROM for A/UX; A/UX itself doesn't make use of the built-in ROM after it gets past the bootloader, and for the Macintosh OS environment it uses its own modified software ROM that's already 32 bit clean.

A/UX allegedly has other issues with the SE/30. Long and short of it according to the FAQs is 3.0 mostly works but 3.1 breaks some things on older machines. And if you want to use something like a PDS Ethernet card your mileage will definitely vary.
