Guess the haul!

I see a IIsi, IIcx/i, an Xserve, a G4 tower, a LaserWriter, and what looks like two Apple Network Servers.  What did I miss / mis-identify?

Also, echoing MJ313, man I wish CL in my area wasn't completely tapped out.  The oldest I ever see around here is maybe a G3 iMac.

Looks to me like two ANS, a Quick Silver, XServe G4 (it has 4 drive bays), Quadra 700 (no II in that case had AAUI afaik), 13" RGB monitor, Mac Classic (II) and a Laserwriter 16/600. Edit: Forgot the IIsi.

You guys are good!  Nearly got them all.  Granted a few tidbits were out of frame, like the 5200 in the passenger seat and the Cinema Display...  The story-- I saw the ad on Craigslist and it only mentioned the ANS.  He needed someone to come get it before it gets recycled.  So I called the guy up and said, "Don't recycle it!  I'll come get it!"  During casual conversation, I mentioned I would take any old Apple gear he has.  He said I would regret that remark.  When I got to his house, he had several items in the garage for me:

2 ANS700/200

2 LaserWriter Pro

Original Xserve G4

13" AppleColor High-Resolution Monitor

Classic II Toaster

Performa 5200CD

IIsi

Q700

PowerMac G4 1GHz DP (he said it was "tricked out" with a processor upgrade)

M8149 Cinema Display

He also had a nice collection of toaster Macs he wouldn't part with, a couple of SE/30, Color Classic, etc..

The file box is full of ANS parts and pieces.  He has another file box full of more ANS parts and pieces he forgot about, but I'll go back and pick it up next week.

YAY!

Do tell when you sort out your ANS pieces/parts. There's a few spares I wouldn't mind having if you are willing to sell...

I will inventory the ANS pieces, and yes belgaonkar, there is a spare power supply in the box of pieces.  But I think the second ANS only has one power supply installed, the first one has two.  So I think that spare one might have something wrong with it, otherwise it would be installed?

You guys wanting parts, you should know I have absolutely no knowledge on the ANS series *AT ALL*.  I've never used one, have never seen one, and didn't know they existed until a recent thread on this site.  It's going to take me a while to figure out what pieces I need, and another long while to decide on what I can pass along.

The guy did pass along a huge binder full of detailed instruction on how to get YDL running on the beasties, which I assume is currently installed.  They came with no AIX software or materials.

Did someone say DAT?

So one unit is a 700/200, and the other is a 700/150, although the /150 has been upgraded with a 200 processor board.

The /200 boots up Yellow Dog.  I was told the other one works as well, but the key mechanism has exploded to pieces.  Maybe I can epoxy them back into a working unit?

I really like that little backlit LCD display with system info. Reminds me of the processor speed displays on old PCs with turbo buttons.
