I didn't realize this was possible, because I didn't know that the MiniDock had extra VRAM inside.
Here is my Duo 2300c, with 48MB of RAM, a 1GB CompactFlash card, MiniDock, 8.6 (soon to be 8.1 or 7.6 for speed), running through a VGA adapter into a modern LCD at 800x600. You can see in the picture how much brighter the new LCD is.
No excuse now not to dig my full size Dock (with Ethernet and Radius video card) out and keep it under my desk at all times, simply switching between my iMac and the Duo on this LCD.
