I am trying any angle I can to figure out why this device is not working (I did have it working once upon a time!)
I have a Mac Plus and a Farallon Etherwave PB, I am currently running 6.0.8, but I've tried 7.0.1 to no avail.
WIth no PB Adapter extension, the device functions perfectly as a LocalTalk to Ethernet bridge and I am able to access my Netatalk server awesomely.
Once I install the Farallon driver (2.2.2) I seem to lose the ability to access AppleShares.
But, the bigger thorn in my side is that I cannot get it to reach the internet, which it is designed to do.
I have setup MacTCP 2.1, chosen all of the settings as indicated in the README on the Farallon disk. Nothing
Does anyone have any additional insight as to why this thing is being such a pain in the butt?

I confirmed my router supports 10mbit half by setting my desktop NIC to 10m/half. But perhaps there's still some incompatibility there? But why would the localtalk>ethernet part work when there's no driver running?
I've been at this for two days now. Worst case scenario I just leave it to connect to AppleShare...
