Well after 13 years it came back to me again my first Mac

After I bought Performa I sold LC to a man who gave it back today to me for free, well it came in really bad condition, worse than I thought it would.

Does anybody have a repair manual for Apple 12" RGB monitor? I would like to open it to clean the plastic etc.

I have Apple repair manuals DVD from 2008 but there is no color display on it ...

Is it yellowed on one side only?

its left side is more yellow than the right ...

The LC has leaked capacitors but the 12" RGB monitor screen shines like new, only needs cleaning ...

Didi any from "down under" noticed the MicroBee logo? The MicroBee was my first computer and year after came first Mac (LC). So I played with MicroBee in BASIC for a while and as the Apple designers for unknown reason placed the Apple logo on the back of 12" RGB monitor instead of front, there I pasted a MicroBee logo which is pretty nice though.

Some yellowing is irreversable, but at least the dirty looking patches should be cleanable. Hope you can clean the mobo and replace the caps. Why Apple used such substandard caps has always been beyond me, but as this was your first computer, I guess it deserves the effort to clean up and get working.
