If so, any cool software on it like protools?

A while ago I got a powermac 7100 that was used as a DAW, with a copy of protools on it(before it was called that though..)

No it wasn't, the 8500 was just his family computer at one time and the EQ's were from his studio, but I doubt the 8500 was a DAW.
