CRT replacement for Apple Monitor II

Hello! I received a full set of Apple IIe with the Apple IIe, the floppy disk driver and the Apple II monitor all of them with their original box and paper & accessories, sadly the postal services destroyed the CRT due to shocks I think (and hopefully it didn’t damaged the plastic parts)

Sadly the CRT was working perfectly and I want to get this full set working for my collection, anyone have an idea for a CRT replacement to fit into the CRT (it’s a Green Phosphor but the amber is also ok for me {fallout new Vegas vibe} )

If anyone can help me to find a replacement CRT from another product (like a crt from another brand or something like that)
Or if anyone have a Spare CRT I live in France 🇫🇷

Model: A2M2010P
Manufactured: July 1983 by Samsung

Thanks for your help 🙏

I suspect a lot of mono CRTs might fit, and might even be compatible with the neck board. Won't necessarily need an exact replacement.

Something else to consider would be an old 4:3 or 5:4 LCD TV. You could probably fit stereo audio RCA jacks + 3.5mm jack where the potentiometers are. Then with all the extra space you could stick some small speakers inside where the air vents are.

This link from another forum seems to reference an attempt to retrofit other similar size/type monitors - obviously with a different purpose, but it contains information that may be important as you look for a replacement, specifically how to intelligently source/use a different CRT.
Here is a link for the SAMs of the A2M2010 - no 'P' though, which may make a difference.

Sorry your monitor arrived in sad shape, but congrats on the rest of it and I love your attitude. Great idea looking at replacing it with an amber one.

Won't be easy, find yourself another unit with a bad board or PSU... not easy again, but probably the best solution than finding the screen only.

Sadly those Apple ii monitor are rarely dead all I find in France seems working fine and destroyed like mine lol I just want to find an alternative to make it working x)

Probably finding a 30 cm old vintage TV will be a solution, won't be green or amber, but will be a suitable replacement for the time being.

Monochrome CRTs were mostly standardized by 1960, and 100% standardized by the 80s. There's very little chance of frying anything if you're swapping a CRT from a black and white TV of similar vintage.
