Apple IIe with Color Monitor and 5 1/4 floppy for $5.

Performa 630CD, Performa 600, Quadra 800, Performa 550, 17" Multiple Scan, 17" AppleVision, keyboards, and mice, for $20.

The Quadra 800 appears to have belonged to some kind of Mac repair shop. There is a disc in the drive that says Service Source, copyright Apple 1999 and has all this stuff on it. The Quadra has dual hard drives and they are both filled with all kinds of diagnostic programs.

Any chance you can upload the diagnostic apps to a server?

My friend found three all-in-one G3s, two Apple IIgs' with monitors and drives, and a blueberry imac for $20 on craig's list. I got my color classic for $30 also on craig's list. It's a goldmine! ;D

Freecycle in Houston sucks. Nobody ever posts anything good.

I'll see if I can upload some of those diagnostic apps somewhere.

A question though: The Performa 600, appears to have an AAUI port on the motherboard, but there is a little plastic tab blocking access to it. I see a SONIC chip on the motherboard and I believe it's for Ethernet. Why would they cover it up? Can I take off the cover and use the Ethernet?

edit: It looks like this Performa 600 has a Centris or Quadra 650 motherboard. I'm gonna pull the tab off and try to use it on the network.

I have a web server (a real one at a company). I just have to get the 800 hooked up and organize all of the utilities and get them compressed and uploaded.

The Quadra 800 has a Radius "LeMans GT" board in it.

According to Macworld May 1994, "Continuing the race for graphics professionals' NuBus slots, Radius debuted its $2999 LeMansGT video board, which it says is the fastest 24-bit Macintosh QuickDraw accelerator available."

Do I have a find here?

It does not have as much software as I though. It has a lot of system software installs and updates and such, and a few things like AppleVision Display Utility, and Printer Utility, and maybe a few older programs.

What is interesting is that this computer appears to have been owned by Computize. My cousin's ex-husband was a hot shot there (VP or something, he was high up).
