Color LaserWriter 12/660

Hi all,

I have a chance at a cheap, or free, Color LaserWriter 12/660. The owner says it needs repairs, and they believe the problem is a bad fuser. Should I take a chance at this beast or should I let it pass? Are fusers available at all? If so, are they terribly expensive?

Old, slow, clunky... the colour lasers of that vintage are always needing some consumable or other replaced. Unless it comes with a cupboard full of toners, transfer units and so on, I wouldn't bother spending any money on it.
