Change display language ?

OK, stupid newbie user question.
I just got my second CC (mostly) working, but the display comes up in Japanese (which is where it came from; I don't speak or read the language) and in my defense I've always had to reload the OS and have chosen English on my Macs.

Is there an easy way to convert it to English, or do I have to reload the OS?

IIRC just swapping Sysytem and Finder for the correct setup and renaming the Japanese ones to something else should work.

Some other software like control panels and desk accessories are localised.
