Centris 650 internal SCSI vs external SCSI speed - same?

I am currently using a ZuluSCSI Mini v1.0 on my Centris 650. It connects to the 25 pin port on the back of the machine. Would I see faster R/W speeds if I used an internal ZuluSCSI device connected to the 50 pin ribbon cable? Or do these two ports perform identically?

Hum, they should be identical on that machine. Perhaps there are more errors happening due to a bad cable? Not sure.

Same speed - they are the same bus.

The Quadra 950 is the odd one that has two SCSI buses.
