Can't get Pivot card to work

Some time ago I got a Radius Pivot Color NuBus card in the hopes of getting something working with the Pivot monitor I have. The card has the part number 632-0070, and the following is written on the EPROM:

©1991 RADIUS INC

PIVOT/COLOR

V 2.2 256K

U5 295-0014-A

Other than what's written on the EPROM, the card looks exactly like the one in this thread.

The model of Pivot monitor I have is the PrecisionColor Pivot (#0356). The monitor will show a picture when attached to the card, but it's just a grey background with a Radius logo. It doesn't do anything else; the monitor does not show up in the Monitors control panel.

Do I have the wrong card? Is it's firmware outdated? This document seems to think so. If that's the case, does anyone have a card with the later firmware so I can dump it's ROM and upgrade mine?

Just curious, what happens if you boot with extensions disabled? (Hold down shift key while booting)

Holding down the Shift key doesn't change anything. The Mac in question is a IIci running System 7.5.5.

The card DOES work correctly if I connect a regular monitor to it, which is strange. It's as if the Pivot's weird sense codes are confusing it.

I really think I need the later ROM at this point, I'm convinced that it's the problem. And if it isn't, well it would be good to have a dump of the later version anyway.

The gray screen with the Radius Logo is thrown up by all the Radius Cards I've used. It's a pre-boot splash screen.

When I have some time, I'll go through the magic shoe boxen to find some more Pivot Cards for comparison. Maybe I've got a newer ROM rev.

edit: just checked, I've got exactly the Same ROM on the same card you have. Knock your System back to the 7.5 or 7.5.1 level and be happy to have something besides the crappy built in vampire video of the IIci!
