Boxed iMac G4 + PowerBook 1400CS

This is part 2 of a haul from the same person. They have graciously donated these items to my collection free of charge.

The first two items were a PowerMac 7200/75 and a PowerMac g4. The second two items:

a powerbook 1400cs/166 with 48mb ram

and last east but certainly not least, a boxed iMac G4 with all the goodies!

The issue now is I have absolutely no idea where to store the box!!

It has all the foam inserts and everything so I can't just fold it up like I did with my G4 PowerMac Box.

To be totally honest though, I'm more excited about the PowerBook. My PB160 needs a recap and until then is basically useless. This powerbook will become my new/old software development machine.

If you ever decide to dispose of the box, please contact me (trag@prismnet.com, or PM here).  I've been looking for one for a couple of years.   The problem though, is that it seems to cost about as much to ship the mostly empty box as it would to ship it with a computer in it.  Sigh.

I kept the box to mine for several years, finally let the SO persuade me to get rid of it and like the next year wanted to box up the iMac.

I’ll keep that in mind but I’m definitely keeping it for the time being. It raises the value of the machine itself by quite a bit.

I expected that was the case, but also imagined the scenario where you decide to clear the space after some period, and I had not spoken up...

Yeah, can't hurt to ask! I threw away some boxes a couple years ago... kinda wish I hadn't but they were big, and not the more famous devices...

Love having my original iMac, iMac DV, and iMac G4’s boxes. It’s all I have as far as

original boxes.

...unless you count my Dad’s TAM with every accessory it came with. Just waiting for him to give that one up.
