Bondi iMac!

It finally happened! I found a Mac sitting out in someone's (my neighbor's) trash! It's a Bondi iMac, not sure of the specs. No keyboard or mouse but it looks nice on the outside. This gives me two of the old G3's now. Once I get the keyboard for this badboy it should be pretty nice unless it needs a ton of work.

Powered it on...it's the original 233MHz model! The case is in perfect shape, it has 96MB of RAM, and the CD-ROM works! I have a bondi puck mouse, all I need is a bondi keyboard (if anyone has one they want to part with PM me) and I have a complete iMac system!

Awesome! Nice little pice of history there!

I got excited upon seeing an original iMac box out for trash last week. People frequently dispose of their old machines in the original box they came in, so I never leave a computer box unopened when I see one. No iMac inside, sadly.

If the flyback dies, take the bum off it. Under there you'll see a DB-15 plug. Disconnect it. You've now just revealed a video port that will accept any multisync Apple display, or any SVGA display if you use an SVGA adaptor.
