Belkin USB/FireWire hub eeprom content

Hi,
I got my hands on a Belkin F5U507 USB/FireWire hub. I wanted to add it to my Mini G4 (I know the hub doesn't have the best reputation, but I really want it :)). The problem is that the USB hub doesn't work. It also doesn't show up in the system profiler.
FireWire seems to be working well although is recognized as an "unknown device" but let's leave it at that for now.

There's an SOP8 EEPROM chip marked Y25LC02A on the PCB. After dumping the contents of this chip, I found that only one byte, value "33, was stored. Does anyone (@dosdude1) have or can dump the contents of this EEPROM?

Any help is welcome, thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Kristoffer

False alarm!! I didn't have time to pull my Mini G4 out of the drawer earlier and decided to test the hub with my G5, and as I wrote earlier, the USB didn't work. Yesterday I found a few minutes and connected the Hub to my Powerbook G4 and... the hub came alive!!!! The G5 and F5U207 definitely don't like each other. USB isn't recognized in either 10.4 or 10.5, but it is in Debian. Strange.
