Apple ][ monitor model?

It looks like a TV, not a monitor - and it's certainly not particular to the Apple II.
Bad choise of words on my side. Sure it's general type. Might be TV as well. It's part of a Apple ][+ set i am looking into getting. I didn't know they did sell Apple ][+ here too, i thought it was just Europlus.

I obtained more interesting history information about Apple ][ in finland. Let's see if those are any worth posting to the history thread i have on the lounge area.

It could be anytype of rca jack tv. I have used my IIe on my old big screen sony with an old atari adapter.

I used to use my original Apple IIe with our old 27" Sony TV. Just ran an RCA cable to the video input jack on the back of the TV. Worked well.

That is indeed a BMC monitor. I own one like it although the smoked perspex panel just covers the screen rather than wrapping around. I bought it with a Europlus clone in the UK.

Can you send me some pictures of it around the unit? I am curious to see this as it really looks strange by design.

I might be getting one later on with an Apple ][+

I'll see what I can do. I'm just back from a long holiday with a few thousand photos to categorise. I don't have a job or income, which needs to be corrected. My ISP has fouled up my primary mail box. I have lots of stuff to sort out.

But I looked at a BMC monitor two minutes before I posted my comment.

It is just a 40/80 column green/amber screen monitor with a vizor.

LOL. We used our commodore hooked to a TV with a "GameBox" .. an RCA jack on one side, and a set of UHF/VHF pigtails on the other.

That does look like a Sanyo to me too.

It's been tested working, but when i received it, i had to put it in the basement. Looks like it has an BNC connector or something, as the cable was modified to on the monitor end to fit.

I am currently considering an small 9" LCD color-TV monitor with RCA input to get colors from the Apple ][. Those go for some 60-70€ right now.

The Sanyo DM5912CX and the BMC KG-12C are the same monitor. As far as I can tell, BMC just stuck their name on it after sourcing it from Sanyo.
