Apple Lisa 2/5 help!

Hi Everyone,

I bought a 2/5 ages ago and made progress neutralising the battery corrosion on the motherboard and giving it a good clean. I got the system working and verified components were functional however I got stuck at a I/O error 52. Naturally I assumed this error was to do with the I/O board so set about trying to find a replacement, however with the current high prices of replacement I/O board reaching the cost of Lisa's themselves I put the project away for a couple years. Fast forward to now and I had another look at the project. Using the power supply from my 2/10 I found out that the I/O error was generated from the power supply, as when I switched it for the 2/10's power supply it didn't error at all. The voltages have all been verified on the power supply and were stable and correct for both power supplies. However, interestingly the interlock switches are non-functional when my 2/5 power supply is use (i.e you can run the Lisa with the faceplate and back off and it will not trigger the EPO). So I suspected someone has been pocking around inside the power supply and modified it to bypass the interlocks. This makes sense as the ProFile hard disk has a large sticker on it 'DO NOT POWER THIS COMPUTER OFF' so perhaps it was used as a server or terminal? In addition someone has modified the Lisa somewhere to bypass the soft power start up, hence when power is applied the Lisa always switches on without the button being pressed.

I had a poke around the power supply and thought I'd see some jumper wires bypassing the interlock but I cannot find anything. If anyone has any ideas that would be great!

Kind regards and thanks in advance,

Max
