Apple external HD enclosure : what’s it worth?

Curious to know what the group thinks is the value of an original Apple SCSI HD enclosure, without a disk. To be clear, I don’t have one that I want to sell, I’m simply curious to know what the “market price” should be.

I see huge differences between prices here, on eBay and at local vintage computer shows. eBay tends to be inflated and prices on vintage gear have sky-rocketed in the past 10 years. According to eBay sales I'd estimate between $15 and $50 depending on condition and strength of the buyers desire.

If the early square one that sits under a Compact Mac, most have bad PSUs by now and need some work - I wouldn't pay more than $50 - 100 for one.
