Apple 3.5 drive model A9M0106 broken cable

Hi there,
I have recently a mac plus alongside some other stuff. One of which is the floppy drive. The issue that I have is that the cable that the drive has was CUT OF by the old owner. My best guess is because its hard wired that wanted to remove it. My question is that is there a way that I can fix this cable. Like does somebody know where i can get a cable to solder to the end of the old one.

Sure, you have the colored wires and pinout you can make up your own connector. Here are the external 3.5" drive pinouts:

... you can also source a junk 3.5" external floppy drive and salvage this entire connector from it
... the seller would have sourced this from e-waste/scrapped where they cut cables for metal recycling

geeze that's awful. don't understand people who cut cables like that, I assume their head is screwed on incorrectly.

I've looked at the website quickly and have noticed that are an American company so it would likely be very expensive for it to he shipped to me. I'll take a look at the check out option but I might need to find a different one. Thanks fir the help though.

Yep after checking I'm not going to spend a bit over half on shipping as I did for the computer. $63 is way to much!

There's a bunch of people selling them on eBay in the UK and EU, FWIW. Not that cheap, but also not unbearable.
