Apple 2e and imagewriter

I'm thinking of getting a apple 2e but i wont to know if i could hook it up to a imagewriter 1.

I used my first IIe with an Imagewriter 1 and a superserial card

Yes, The Apple IIe needs a SuperSerial card to attach an ImageWriter printer with. The cable is a db25 to db25 serial cable.
