Any tricks to get older games working with SE30 and OS6.0.8?

I'm trying to play Loderunner and King of Chicago but neither will work.  Are there any settings I can try to get them or any older game working?

Thanks!

Not sure of those games per se, but I know one of the tricks for very old software is to not use an SE/30.

Some software needs a 68000 chip. Games seem to be the number one culprit here. I know this is a bit obscure in the scope of what we use on here, but an old education game, Dinosaur Discovery Kit, won't run on anything that isn't a 68000. (These things do seem to be chip-specific since they usually will run on a Classic despite being designed in the Plus era).

I think you can play Lode Runner if you don't click the mouse in the screen (stick to key controls). Pretty sure I even played it on 7+, but I do remember it crashing by clicking the mouse. Maybe there's a fix....

With System 6, A trick I learned that allows many older games to run is to make sure that MultiFinder is turned off. I think that is the key to fixing the no mouse clicking in Lode Runner and other games that keep switching to the finder when you click the mouse.
