Any idea where to find that special DA15-VGA adapter?

I am talking about the red-circled part, an SE30 internal VGA adapter with DIP-Switches. It would be great to have the VGA-converter inside the Mac case. Any source or Gerber file would be grateful.

The picture is from an offering by Marushin in Japan. But that adapter is not part of the offering and unfortunately the Marushin people do not answer to my emails.

If you're not happy making your own (technical details are available online) you could use one of these:

Use the Xceed's existing 15 pin connector to plug in if there is room.

The back bracket on these is just a rectangle with two screw holes and then holes for whatever port. There are dimensions available - it would be cool to get one laser cut, but you could hand cut one from some plastic or whatever. I'd probably rough cut one from 1mm steel, chain drill and file the ports, drill the mount holes and then spray paint it. The hardest bit is always getting the two bits for the screws on the ports right.

Or get a PCB made for the bracket plate. PCBs are a weirdly cheap way of getting panels made in reasonable quality.

Thank you for that idea, but as you probably thought, this combination reaches way too much into the case. Therefore I was looking for the adapter shown above, that does not use a DA-15 but a small 2-row IDC connector.

Google "VGA breakout adapter", there are several variants not as elegant at this, but short profile and suitable
