I have managed to source some apple original dual 68-pin SIMM sockets as used in some Quadra, Centris and LC models. These are new in box Apple original parts. Pics enclosed. I have quite a few, new old stock. A single one was used on the NeXT machines for DSP RAM, and it was also used for VRAM on the Acorn Risc PC 600 and 700.

I don't know how unobtainium these are, but I'm sure some boards may be unusable because of battery bombed sockets, and this is a hard one.

Sooo, tell me about these bad boys. I have over 100. If they're not likely to be used by people wishing to repair or recreate boards, I can find other uses for them. I have enough for a design.

This is hilarious. Yes, these are the same. EXACTLY the same. As in, part of the same batch of 15 boxes. I didn't get them from there, but from a friend in the DFW area.

They even have the exact same label.

He has three boxes of eight trays of 15 and one tray. I have four boxes, 32 trays, or 480 pcs.

So, I guess there's a lifetime's supply and no worries there then!
