    Powermac 7300 only boots some of the time

    I found the problem. It was a setting on my 50 pin to 68 pin adapter. Hopefully this info will help others. I had to remove the jumper labeled REM http://www.storcase.com/support/pdf/dx100snc_a.pdf

    I checked the hard drive it does have a jumper for delaying startup but it is not enabled. My drive is connected via a 80 pin to 50 pin adapter and im thinking maybe that has something to do with it but i dont know much about scsi (besides the high price nowadays). I really dont want to...
